2019年，《水下中国》第一季首次亮相爱奇艺，以洞穴、沉船、粮仓、绿洲、珊瑚、古城为主题，为中国水下制作了六张全新的名片。2023年，经过4年的拍摄制作，《水下中国》第二季即将问世，将视角从“中国水下奇景”转移到“独特的水域生态”上，选择了6种最具代表性的水下生物，来讲述6个截然不同、却又相辅相成的水域。着眼于中国水域生态、自然环境、动物保护话题，与各地高校、研究机构合作，以叙述性的故事和电影级的镜头呈现近年来中国水域生态的变化，用生动形象的故事，展示不为人所知的，960万平方公里之下的世界。
